Waitaki Orchards Ltd

Waitaki Orchards Ltd is a summer-fruit, family owned orchard growing apricots, peaches, plums nectarines and cherries.  The orchard is 6km east of Kurow on a 33 ha block. The fruit is picked, packed and graded on site for New Zealand and overseas markets.  Most of Waitaki Orchard's seasonal workers are students and backpackers from around the world.

Work is available during the year. Picking and packing work is available January and February, with pruning from May to August.  In October and November fruit thinning takes place.
If you would like to be part of the Waitaki Orchard team please phone Irene Watt 027 780 3851 or email irene.waitakiorchards@gmail.com

When the fruit is ready in January and February the roadside stall is open 7 days, 9am - 5.30pm at 5221 Kurow-Duntroon Road, Kurow.
